    Under the heading of “Geography in your pocket and the clouds”, the geospatial technology expert from Google, Ed Parsons, explainined how geospatial technology on a state-of-the-art web support has been adopted by global communities for both creating and using geospatial data.

  • Partnering Event

    Under the heading of “Integrated navigation, communication and earth observation applications. Business opportunities and cooperation”, this seminar aims to integrate different technologies to create new applications.

    The first part will be taken up with the presentations. In the second part, the organizations involved can hold bilateral meetings with other interested entities with the aim of establishing cooperation agreements or business deals.

  • TGEO 2009 Tutorials

    One of the main new features this year, these tutorials will feature Earth observation, satellite navigation, cartography and geographic information systems (GIS).

    The courses will be given by teachers and professionals from European companies and institutions in the sector.

    They will be held on 2 March at the headquarters of the Cartographic Institute of Catalonia.

    Organized by the Cartographic Institute of Catalonia under the technical supervision of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) and the Catalan Earth Observation Programme (PCOT).
